My appologies for the slightly later than intended announcement of the race venue but all the ducks are now in a line and ARC has signed off the consent or the event to go ahead!
The Great Escape day one will be held ........ at Atiu Creek! A new ARC park (opened April last year) approx 15min South West from Wellsford. Day two for the Kayak will be based from Port Albert approx 10mins north of this.
For those looking for accomodation Wellsford would be your closest option.
Keep posted for directions on how to get to (and between) these two venues. Signposts will also be present at major intersections from Hellensville and Wellsford - though I recommend printing off the instructions to follow as you drive!
